Motoko is a Japanese SEO/SEM Strategist. Since she established AJPR in 1998, she has been working with companies from around the world helping them to enter Japanese market using the Internet. She also has been giving SEO/SEM seminars to promote the concept of SEO/SEM targeting Japanese market to companies and web professionals.

She is a Chairperson of SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization) Asia Working Group, and a Co-Chair of SEMPO Japan Committee.

In 2008, Motoko will co-host the Search Engine Strategies Conference & Expo in Tokyo.

The results show that the average sales person in Internet industry makes 5.40mil yen/year (about US$53K) and average marketer in Internet industry makes 5.01mil yen/year (about US$50K).
