| About author: | Carlos Chacón (aka Charlie), CEO of MEL Mercadeo en Línea, S.A. Charlie was born in the mid tropical country of Costa Rica (Central America). His experience with the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Online Marketing (SEM) has been build based across the past 7 years. Starting on year 2000, he works with a SEM marketing firm in San Jose (Costa Rica) as a marketing assistant. After that, he found his own SEO/SEM local firm. He’s also a Consultant, and has successfully generated new business opportunities for many top local and Latin-American companies including Equipos Nieto, Libreria Internacional and COSI Charlie is a regular assistant at industry events, including Search Engine Strategies Conferences since 2003 (San Jose, CA; Toronto; Miami) and other events like OJOBuscador (Madrid, Spain) & SMX Buenos Aites (2007) and Madrid (2008). He had obtained a Bachelor’s Degree on Business Administration and a License Degree with emphasis on marketing but getting ready to attend a Master's Degree soon. |
