In these days of economical crisis, companies are looking for new customers or new targets. What about Latin-America? Is there a good potential of acquisition?

Mexico represents a clearly example of this…

Last November 1st and 2nd the “Mexico Web 2.0” congress was ready to go in Cancun. Maybe for some of us this kind of events isn’t new. But we’re talking about Latin-American countries, which has been growing faster these last years.

Gonzalo Alonso (Google speaker for Argentina) said that Latin America was the biggest region on the world growing faster, so this event is just an example to how things are going right now.

Maybe one country isn’t a big target, but thinks about this numbers:

  • Latin-America Population: 562.368.000
  • Internet penetration: 24%

This means, that at least 100 million people is looking for something on the Internet while you’re reading this!

So, I insist; there’s a great opportunity to find customers on this region of the planet. Think twice when looking for “latinos”… we are here!
