Adkontekst – 10 million Polish users in contextual network

Adkontekst is the name of contextual ads network, that was created by Polish search engine – NetSprint.pl, with 2nd biggest Polish internet portal – Wirtualna Polska (WP.pl). The offer includes advertisement both in search results, as well as on partners websites. Adkontekst network consists of the most opinion-making and prestigious websites in Polish internet, i.a. WP.pl, o2.pl (one of the biggest portals), IDG.pl, websites owned by Polskapresse - one of the largest press publishers in Poland and the largest publisher of regional daily papers, Media Regionalne and many leading verticals.

On the basis of experience from over 7-years of development we decided to unify our offer with Wirtualna Polska. As a result of changes, all of the Sponsored Links will be emitted in auction model. The order of their presentation will be determined by declared price and attractiveness for the users. Owing to advanced technology of Adkontekst all of the sponsored links are presented contextually: in search engine they are related to user’s query, in partner’s network – to the content of article. As a result, the ad in Adkontekst is always precisely directed to the target group, most interesting from the advertiser’s perspective. Moreover, advertiser is able to reach vast majority of Polish internet users (above 10.000.000 UU which is 71% of Polish users).

Adkontekst’s advertiser has the possibility of full control over the place, where the ad is presented. Advertiser may add or remove keywords, as well as the categories of websites on which the ad appears. Additionally, Adkontekst is equipped with geotargeting functionality.

The advertiser decides on the budget and price for single click. The payments are done in PPC model and advertiser may choose one of two pricing strategies:

  • Max CPC – advertiser declares the maximum price that he/she is able to pay for click. System optimizes the real cost of the click, on the basis of auction mechanism.
  • Fixed CPC – advertisers declares the real price for each click.

Customers with large portfolio of products may import the campaigns in *xls format.

Apart from text ads, the advertiser may choose Adkontekst Exclusive - form of advertisement in which logo or other graphics are presented. The variety of ad forms allows the customers to attain diverse goals of the campaign:

  • Increase of website traffic
  • Branding

In order to provide our partners and customers with the best quality of traffic in Adkontekst network, we have introduced 3 stages of verification:

  • Automatic control of anti-spam system
  • System administrators’ control
